Indonesia’s badminton team finished the European leg of the BWF 2026 circuit without a title. The squad competed in four major tournaments: German Open, All England, Swiss Open, and Orleans Masters. No champion emerged from the group. The best finish came from Alwi Farhan and Putri Kusuma Wardani, who both ended as runners‑up at the Swiss Open 2026.

During a press briefing, Eng Hian, the head of communications for the Indonesian Badminton Association, described the European tour as a mirror of the world’s fierce competition. He said that consistency in critical moments will be the key to staying competitive.

Further, he highlighted the need to sharpen consistency, saying, “Yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah konsistensi di momen‑momen krusial.

The tour exposed the players to high‑level opponents and highlighted areas for growth. While progress is evident, the focus will remain on tightening performance in decisive moments to convert close matches into victories.
